Errors and limits

Code	Meaning	What to do
400	A field is wrong or unknown (the message names it)	Fix the request
401	Missing or invalid key / token	Check the credential
402	Out of credits for this period	Add credits. Deletes, exports and single reads still work
403	The key has no scope for this, or the token may not use this space	Use a key with that scope
404	Not found. A record you may not see answers exactly like one that does not exist	—
409	An `Idempotency-Key` conflict	See section 6
413	The body is over 2 MB	Split it or use `/v1/imports`
429	Too many requests for this key or account	Wait `Retry-After` seconds (`RateLimit-*` headers tell you the limit)
503	The server is busy right now	Wait `Retry-After` seconds and retry. A 503 is never charged
500	Our fault: no internals are shown	Report the `request_id`

A context that would take longer than 2 s comes back with "degraded": true and what was found in time. Degraded answers are free (up to 20 a minute per account).
